Lost In The Truck Boneyard
|
After a 500 mile cross-country drive through the plains of Alberta and Saskatchewan in Canada I found myself in a small town called Balgonie. Here I chanced upon a sign, hidden away on a back road, advertising the Truck Boneyard.
What at first seemed like the chance to photograph some old American trucks in varying states of decay, soon turned into a maze to be escaped from as I realised that the Boneyard contained thousands of vehicles. I had no idea where the way out was as my journey though the trucks had taken me over the crest of a hill, through gopher infested fields, and back into the past. May 2008 |
Thank you so much for another brilliant photoshoot. Your images are amazing! Our art editor is going to be absolutely delighted he's got so many great ones to choose from. Thanks.
