What is Ground Based Aerial Photography
We provide a ground based aerial photography service which allows us to take aerial photos from up to 50ft using a telescopic mast, as well as providing photographic solutions to allow us to take images from much greater altitudes.
Aerial photographs are taken using a remotely controlled camera mounted on a telescopic mast. We can view the image from the ground, composing the image and adjusting camera settings before the photo is taken.
Our ground-based aerial photography system gives amazing views at a fraction of the cost of both fixed and rotary wing aerial photography.

Our mobile low-level aerial photography system is unique. Despite using the latest in technology, the key to its success is the simplicity, mobility and speed.
The aerial photographic system uses a 50ft pneumatic telescopic mast fitted to a vehicle.
A camera is mounted to the camera control unit which is attached to the mast and connected via cable to a laptop computer.
The camera control unit and laptop have full control of the camera's pan, tilt, and zoom functions.
The mast can support various cameras including:
- High quality digital stills
- CCTV
- Digital Video
The exact image as the camera sees it can be viewed from the laptop which is also used to adjust the camera settings and take the final image which is downloaded immediately using the special software.
The image can be modified, enhanced and saved to CD whilst on site. 360° Panoramic Images
Complete 360° photos can be taken and used as virtual tours, quicktime movies or cylindrical panoramic images.
The resulting 360° panoramic images can be used for telecom mast surveys, historical reference or printing in hi-resolution.

We will discuss the venue and type of photos required over the phone, once on site, we erect the mast and take a series of photos from various heights and angles.
We will write your digital images directly to a CD on site or we can retouch them and send the CD later. - Private Commissions - We can carry out private commissions for homeowners, clubs, events, and local landmarks.
